The 1st Asia Pacific Outgames is a multi-sport tournament, a human rights conference and cultural event which embraces the Asia Pacific's gay and lesbian community and its friends. Melbourne hosted over 1500 participants, who participated in sports such as Dancesport, Swimming and Ten Pin Bowling.
